Canon i9100 inkjet printer is a very nice 4,800 X 1,200 dpi six color design. With borderless printing up to A3+ (13" by 19") and great color reproduction there's a lot to like about this inkjet printer.

Beautiful big color printing at an affordable price
Priced at under $500 the Canon i9100 inkjet printer is pretty good value and with borderless large format photo printing there really is no alternative.

The Canon i9100 is a six color unit, with the standard cyan, magenta, yellow and black augmented by light magenta and light cyan. The single ink tank system means that each tank is individually replaceable while optical ink sensor give you accurate read outs on the remaining ink levels in each tank.
Canon back this printers excellent capabilities with a feature rich driver package. Image optimization for interpolating low-resolution images and Photo Noise Reduction (PNR) for reducing typical digital photo speckle artifacts are among the useful tools provided.
Using Canon's Photo Glossy A3+ paper we got huge borderless and flawless unbanded prints. Image quality was fantastic with decently saturated greens. With color profiling setup correctly you can get results that are very similar to what is on the screen.

If you want great looking color photo prints then this printer has to be top of your list. If you budget can stretch to this large format printer there really is no alternative.
With fantastic color reproduction and a solid driver package Canon really has delivered with this design. If that wasn't enough print speeds are good as well.
