Inkjet Printer Buyers Guide

The first step in buying the right printer is to think carefully about your printing requirements. How many prints will you be doing a week? Do you intend to print photos? Do you intent to print mostly text or color documents on plain paper?

You want to buy a printer that does all that you will want it too and not a lot extra. Why pay for features you don't need?

All technology has a limited useful lifespan and inkjet printers are no exception. I find that generally the most economical method is to buy the middle of the road (in terms of price and features) now and upgrade more often in the future. This way you end up with a modern inkjet printer now and in the future rather than buying an expensive printer that might break down in a few years.

Having said that if you need high quality A3 or borderless photo prints then you'd be best not to compromise and pay a little extra for the quality prints and economical running costs a well designed printer can bring.

Best budget printer?

I would say it is the Canon i320 inkjet printer . This little printer does a low for it's extremely low purchase cost. It is economical to run and ink cartridges are very cheap to buy. Text and color documents come out great but for proper photo printing you will want something else.

Best budget photo printer?

I would say it is the Epson Stylus C84 Inkjet Printer . Although this printer can't offer as high a quality photos as some of the others it does do borderless prints and Epson's new ink is water resistant so your photos will last much better. The speed is good and at under $100 you can't really go wrong.

Without a doubt it is the Canon I9100 Inkjet Printer. With up to A3 size borderless printing and stunning photo quality this is the printer if you serious about photography.

Best office inkjet printer?

I has to be the HP DeskJet 6122 Inkjet Printer . With network capabilities and the automatic duplex (print on both side) function that is standard out of the box this printer is ready for the office. Along with economical color document printing this printer really does impress.
